How long are the sessions?
A.Each player takes between 2 and 5 minutes to shoot. Team sessions require 30-45 minutes to set up and can take on average 1 - 3 hours to shoot, depending on the number of players.
How much time do you need to setup for a team session?
A.We need approximately 30-45 minutes to setup for a team session.
Do you use the same locker room the players change in for the photos?
A.No, in order to respect player privacy and comply with various association and league rules around taking photos and video in dressing rooms, we require an additional locker room dedicated to the photo session.
Can you take the photos in the same locker room as the players use to dress?
A.No. Due to the space required for green screen sessions, we must have a dedicated space for shooting.
Where do you shoot these sessions and does the team need to book a space?
A.We will schedule a space for the individual mini-sessions. For team sessions, we will work with you to find a solution that is convenient for the team, but also meets space requirements for the shoot.
I have three kids playing hockey on different teams, can they have a photo together?
A.Unlike our locker room sessions, we will only shoot rostered players for team sessions. We recommend booking an individual mini session if you'd like siblings to pose together.
Do the athletes have to be a hockey player or can they participate in another sport?
A.No, we can certainly shoot athletes from sports other than hockey. Inquire with us and we can share background options for different sports.
Do you require any parent volunteers to help with the shoot?
A.For team sessions we do appreciate 2-3 volunteers to help get the players ready. This ensures the shoot moves smoothly so we can get you done on time.
We don't require parent volunteers for the individual mini sessions.
What do I need to bring to my session?
A.Be sure to bring all of your equipment, including skates and stick. Normally players won't wear helmets or neck guards for these sessions.
If you want that hard working, sweaty look, or you should bring a spray bottle and brush.
Here's a checklist to help:
- Jerseys (Home & Away)
- Game socks
- All equipment, except neck guard and helmet
- Spray bottle and brush
Are there changing facilities available sessions?
A.No. We require players to arrive dressed and ready to shoot. There will be some time and space for them to put skates on, however we generally won't have room for hockey bags and dressing. If team sessions are scheduled around an ice time, your team will likely have a locker room designated for changing.
How long will it take to receive my images?
A.Our standard turnaround time is within 2-3 weeks.
How do I receive my images?
A.Images will be delivered in JPEG format via digital download. If you're part of an individual mini session a link will be sent to the email you provided when booking. If you're part of a team session, a gallery link will be provided to the person who made the booking.
Can I select the final image I'd like edited?
A.No, in order to keep these sessions affordable with quick turnaround times, we do not upload or share proofs. We will select the best pose to edit and deliver.
Can I print the digital file I receive?
A.Yes, your files will be provided as high resolution digital downloads in JPEG format. You can order prints directly from your gallery, or you can take the file to a lab of your choice. The files will be sufficient for most standard wall art print sizes. If you're going really really big, please get in touch and we'll discuss your options.
What forms of payment do you accept?
A.We accept cash, cheques, credit cards, and e-transfers.
